05 / QUESTIONS
What is included in the kit?
The kit includes six perforated tart rings, one round dough cutter and one wooden tamper, making eight pieces in total.
What size are the mini tart rings?
Each tart ring has an inner diameter of 60 mm, outer diameter of 62 mm and fixed height of 20 mm. The ring wall is 1 mm thick.
Why is the dough cutter larger than the tart ring?
The cutter has a 90 mm inner diameter, while the tart rings have a 60 mm inner diameter. The larger dough circle provides extra pastry to shape against the base and sides of the ring. Adjust the dough as needed for your recipe.
What are the holes in the rings for?
The perforations allow airflow around the tart shell during baking. They are designed to help support even baking and a consistent pastry finish.
How do I use the wooden tamper?
Place pastry dough inside the ring and use the tamper head to press gently and evenly. The wooden head measures 56 mm in diameter.
Are the tart rings adjustable in height?
The supplied technical specifications show a fixed 20 mm ring height and do not describe a mechanical height-adjustment feature.
What materials are used?
The six tart rings and round cutter are made from 304 stainless steel. The separate tamper is made from beech wood.
How should I clean the kit?
Wash the stainless steel parts with mild dish soap and warm water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Clean the wooden tamper gently with a damp cloth and dry promptly. Avoid soaking the wood.
Are prepared tart shells and fillings included?
No. Only the eight forming tools are included. Dough, baked tart shells, fruit, cream, chocolate and other photographed food or props are not included.
